Successful London based food and interiors photographer, Jemma, has had a long career with an impressive list of clients and portfolio to match. Her creative eye for detail made her the preferred choice for interior magazines, homeware brands, publishers of cookbooks, food brands, PR agencies, design agencies and business owners. Jemma also shares her expertise with technical and creative workshops and masterclasses for small businesses.

The Itch

Jemma’s first experience of branding her business turned out to be disastrous which left her a little nervous, out of pocket, and more importantly, without a consistent brand in place. Her brand image was failing to reflect her expertise and competitors were perceived to have a stronger brand image. Jemma was ready to improve her brand recognition and visual impact on her target audience.

The Brief

To rebrand starting with a deep dive into her brand strategy and translating the findings into a relevant brand identity with a comprehensive brand bible (guidelines) to create consistency. Jemma’s photography is very natural, feminine, sophisticated and clean, without being girly, and predominantly shot with daylight. This needed to be reflected in the new visual identity.

The Outcome

Brandstorm Creatives answered the brief creatively with a distinctive brand identity across all customer-facing marketing communications. Jemma felt her brand’s transformation raised her confidence, instilled pride around her new brand image and elevated her position with competitors. Since the rebrand she constantly receives amazing feedback from clients and has solid and consistent brand alignment, online and offline, from printed collateral to website and social media platforms.
